where can we find the list of banned films?

hi, I'm in a fix where is the list of banned film`s. i wanted to list a film yesterday but i thought id better ask just in case? " just as well i did ". even though this film had been re-released with a 18 cert it is still on the banned list .we should be able to get a list of the films that are banned or its going to be ask every time before we list if we are unsure? I'm sure a lot of people out there will think it`s
down to common sense but with a lot of once banned films
being given 18 certs then who`s to know whats good and whats not. so thumbs up to a banned list being made available.

i don't really see banned anymore. the old school banned have been released again and are mostly crap compared to those around in the 70's and 80's.

try the internet movie database www.imdb.com might help you there.

If it's a UK release and has marked on it a BBFC classification certificate (U, PG, 12, 15,18, exempt) then there should be no problem. If you're selling a film without classification then the situation is more murky and I'm no expert on that except, of course, if it's a pirate copy then that's illegal.
