Thread: Spreading the word about Ebid

I think it's rotten of people to block 0 feedback users, my feedback over on ebay is over 3000 100% positive and yet here it has been hard just to get to +2! I keep looking for things I want to buy but have been failing miserably so far.

    Oh well I'll keep looking!

I'm gradually filling my shop up with stuff, at least with no listing fees I can afford to list very slow moving things which I can't afford to list on feebay since the shops fees went up so much.

Kate, why not mention your Feebay feedback on your profile,
I use www.feedbacksite.com. I have heard there is also a link on www.auctionhelp.co.uk.

Another option is to buy packaging materials on ebid.

Just thought, have you thought about contacting the sellers and telling them about your feebay feedback? They may decide to allow you to bid.

Just what I was about to say too lofty

I have an auction running at the moment on which I'd set the bidder feedback at 5+, then I received a 'question' from a potential buyer stating that she was unable to bid on this auction and didn't know why I mentioned about the bidding feedback level and that I would change it to include 0-rated. She bid shortly afterwards and now there's only a few hours left to go, so hopefully I'll have a successful sale by the end of today

It's certainly worth a try Kate

Of course I will have to tell a few little white lies about how great and fast the site is and how well stuff sells - maybe I will wait until after the upate (tongue in cheek here mate).

Email signature being composed as we speak.

    Nice one

Maybe use the EBID kid logo as a picture at the botom of your e.mails.
I hear they are going to do car stickers.. any news on that?
Litttleme1969, I like the idea of putting the eBid kid on emails, but can you tell me where you copied it from and have Mark or Gazza agreed for it to be used on emails as I am worried about copyright infringment.

I agree with everyone, why should we all ban new bidders, we were all one once. I have never banned new bidders - I only blackball people who do not pay up.
Please have a look at my auctions:

    DVD and CD's

    Books
