Kettles

Has anybody bought a new kettle recently? After getting thru 4 in the last 3 years I want a decent one. I am fed up with the following features:
-Kettles that are a pain to fill up as the lid dosnt stay popped open and falls back down again.
-Kettles that dont pour very well, they either pour very slowly or drip a lot. Or both.
-Kettles that break.
-Kettles that dont sit on there base very well and have to be wiggled.
-Kettles that need to be plugged into a kettle lead.
I dont want to spend more than about £30 tops but after the last really cheap one I really want a decent one!

Its okay I got some advice from a few kettle enthusiasts (sp?) on amazon discussion boards. So I have opted for a Morphy Richards Jug Kettle. It sounds like its well designed and will last!
