that's what I meant ealirer though - what banks are going to be willing to have a new customer who is running away from another bank account that has loads of charges on? I haven't changed bank account very often, but on the 2 occasions I did, I had to supply previous bank statements to the new bank... presumably you can't deny having the bank account as it shows on your credit scoring

I used to work for a finance company years ago - I used to sit at the credit scoring machine... the times people would come in, complete applications for loans and omit to include ALL of their credit cards and loans on the form, it was amazing... ooooooh I forgot about those 3 Course you did luv Strange that those three have got the highest scores on them as well

A shopping trip had taken the money out too early so my bf got overdrawn for less than £10 the day before he got paid and halifax have now charged him £30 for the priviledge

Can they get away with it or can we do something?

    Thanks
Asda charged me twice for a shopping bill........... realised two days later so they refunded it..... in the meantime the bank charged me £30 for going overdrawn............
Then said it wasn't their problem because the original error was Asda, but then Asda say the bank should refunded it so at the moment no-one will pay me back!

surely that one is down to Asda for billing you incorrectly???

I would keep hassling both - you may end up with £60
