    Default MOT for "how much"

My car is due for MOT , phoned up a few places and they were all telling me that the cost of an MOT wos 40.00 "shock", booked it in the garage I brought the car from, Ford dealership. Today I got the local rag through my door and noticed a garage offering a discount for MOT this month and wos doing them for 35.00 So I booked my car in with them, I promptly phone the Ford dealership to cancel my MOT with them and told them why.

    And guess wot

They beat the price Now gettting it done for 30.00.

Yeah but now they're going to find an extra "fault" and put the cost back up to "repair" it.

So you can lend me a tenner then ?

Well done on excellent 'negotiation' !
It always pays to ask if there is a discount ...... wherever you shop My fella's always complaining that I embarrass him when we're out shopping as I hate paying the 'ticket' price for anything !
