Site speed is awesome today

I don't know if it's just me, but the site is loading pages really quickly today, I noticed it when I went to the home page and everything appeared virtually at once. Has anybody else noticed this speed up?

not for me it isn't ...... still quite slow; there has been some 'downtime' this morning - for upgrades I think - so things should improve throughout the day I hope

It's even faster for me today. Every page is positively screaming onto my screen, this is the fastest site I'm using at the moment (out of about 20).
