Payment Methods/Invoicing needs attention. Needs Tons of advertising. Not enough buyers. Non payers should not be allowed to leave feedback. When admin remove a comment it should stay removed and not changed to a neutral.
Customer service 10/10 though!!! Thankyou Gazza & Mark!!!

We definately need publicity. I like it here but we all need buyers about!
Please visit my shop: Selling mainly garage doors parts and remote control garage door openers. Good quality parts.

Marketing is the obvious thing that needs to be done. Even tho this site seems popular and has been around for a while, I only happened on it by chance. When searching Google for auction sites, this one was not even mentioned. Been this route before. Wanting to find an alternative to Ebay. Free is nice, but no buyers, no bids will not keep people like myself around. I'm certainly going to give it a go. Fortunately I don't have to depend on this for a living. I feel bad for people that do. And I realize you can't control what people list, but there is a lot of junk here. I'm the ultimate pack-rat. But even I wouldn't waste time on most of the listings in Books, especially magazines. Oh well. Gotta keep trying.

I voted 10. As you know Gazza and Mark, I do my utmost to promote the site.
As you have read from other posters, there are, too many fakes on the site and that brings it down. We do need more buyers but we need a little help getting them and I don't think fakes do it. Well! not for me, anyway.

sadly-even recommending friends to the site-one look at the rather busy design had my family and friends running for cover.
Its a shame but there are far to may fake handbags etc.. No way your getting an real armani for £20 or so. There are also illegal DVD's in increasing numbers.
    The biggest problem is publicity
    have never seen any!!!!!!
Sorry Ebid I do like the site.

I have also voted 10. I have just closed my ebay shop, after a lot of hard work and effort, due to their high fees + charges. I did put a notice in my shop to say I would be closing and quite a few of my buyers contacted me wanting to know where I was going as they still wanted to buy from me. Hopefully this will attract more buyers + sales to Ebid.

Although initially worried at starting again, I am really pleased with the sales I have had in my 1st 3 weeks and hope that this will continue.

Although I have signed up for PPPay I am not promoting this to my buyers as I am not impressed with the 49p extra charge. I will continue to use Paypal as this service is free to buyers.

    Please visit my shop

    Hi!
Your remark about the PPPAY is a good one. 49p is a real turn in cost terms. Shame, would be nice to have a real competator to PAYPAL.

front page too busy , no invoicing facilities , very poor lister program ( I can't get my head round spreadsheets) , no advertising which means no bidders ..I have been here for a lot of years in actual fact since the begining ( different id then) and have watched the site grow , it is a lot better than it was

    Thumbs up

Yes for sure I would recommend eBid, I intend to move listings here from another place and add many more items. I think the more people that list items the better, and it is great to see the book category growing, books and all the other categories here are as good as any other place although on a smaller scale, but they are growing, I have a positive feeling.

It is a little quiet here I only found this site due to free publicity in the finacial press slagging feebay, and then again in the petion of powersellers unite website. Now would be the time to do the hard sell with so many disenfranchised or tottaly hacked off ebayers like me wandering homeless and in need of a new venue!

Still I am here and plan to give it my best shot, I am going to mail all my previous feebay contacts going back to 2001.
Might pee a few off but many will have a look once I get enough items in my shop and figure out how to put links to it and get my facts straight about the free listing etc
