Thread: Silver Fork

  1. #1

    Cool Silver Fork

    In need of helping hand
I have found a fork, I know nothing strange, but the fork have some hallmarks, which I tried to identify and I couldn't.
Searched all websites and there are millions of it, but no luck. I will try to describe it as close as possible, if anybody knows about it or have a good website where can I find those hallmarks, I don't have a local jewellery to find out exact where this fork originate from. It would be daft to go with a single fork into jewllery shop.

Description: letters on the back- B, R, P,L then like a small crest and inside letters EP and with one symbol like masons. Quite heavy for a fork.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you

Don't know much about hallmarks but EP usually stands for Electro-Plated.

Found the other letters on a potters supply site (thanks to google) and it seems they stand for Bright platinum. So I would hazard a guess at platinum plated
