What a bunch of hypocrites eBay are !

Like you, ikeaplus, I've just got - made myself a cuppa - and gone to check on how things are going ........... and zilch.

An email check reveals that the auction has been pulled and the reason give for the auction being pulled ????? as follows:

We appreciate that you chose eBay to list the following auction-style listing(s):

220016000741 - Auction (eB*d) snowy PAPERWEIGHT money saver


However, your listing was in breach of eBay's Accepted Payments policy and has been removed from eBay. All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has
been canceled.

We would like to take this opportunity to let you know what part of your listing is not permitted.

Your listing(s) contains the following information:

well concealed cash



Sellers may offer to accept PayPal, credit cards including Mastercard/Visa /Amex/Discover, debit cards and bank electronic payments online for eBay purchases. How about that ? 1 auction pulled out of 15 auctions running ..... and they ALL say well concealed cash .... it will be interesting to see whether any more are pulled today. If not then the offending wording will be removed and the paperweight will be back on by this afternoon !!!

Then we'll see what their next excuse is ;-)

Must admit I'm a bit surprised as there are some protest auctions around at the moment that are pretty near the mark - your's was so mild in comparison. Perhaps if you take the bit about the cash off it and relist it you'll be ok?
