Also Ebid....you have what could be a key marketing tool, 60 minute auctions, fleabay dosnt have that feature

At the moment you have a catch 22 situation with the auctions, items are too high as there arnt many buyers, but how can buyers be attracted to the site when prices are too high........................
You said it "MADHATTER" does it

Hi, The reason for this is because this is the way you have to do bin listings on here there is no other option, if a seller wants £2 for his item all they can do is put a start price of 1.99, I think its stupid that we cannot have a straight bin without having to put a start down, but thats how its done here at the moment and it would not put me off buying from someone. I agree with you about prices not being too high people list at what they can sell at, well some of them do apart from the scammers.

IMHO eBid is like eBay before it introduced the £50 minimum reserve when you could bid on an auction and actually pick up a bargain.

If there is one thing I personally don't like it is 'auctions' where the starting bid only a few pence below the BIN price. People are much more likely to bid if you start an auction for a low price and set a reserve. BTW my own reserves are NOT just below the BIN price LOL!.

In terms of feedback, would it be possible to "transfer" our feedback points over from ebay, im sure if we could it would encourage more people o buy and sell on the site
