No Gothicina #79 I dont have a website of my own. Do you? I would like one but not sure how to go about it. Any tips?

I have a website which is hosted on free space from my ISP it's quite easy to set up a simple page that automatically redirects them to wherever you want. Ebid Home Page or even your Auctions.

Coding a simple HTML page isn't that difficult heres a couple of links

yes I do have a website www.gothicina.co.uk
like Ken mine was written in notepad.
The links he gave you are both useful, there is much more out there.

The first thing you need to do is check what your ISP has on offer as part of your package, it should include free webspace, some have an online site builder much like the shopbuilder & listing editors used by Feebay & Ebid. Pretty basic but a starting place.

Serif have WebPlus 6 for free download at http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/ you can also pick up free graphics & desktop publishing software there as well.
Obviously it's not the latest versions of their software but whats on offer is free (you do need to register it by email) fully working (not a demo or crippled in any way) software.

No I don't work for them but I do try & promote UK companies if I can


You can use MS Word or Frontpage (which sometimes comes as part of MS Office) but MS products add lots of extra code, which doesn't always work for those using firefox.

and i was wondering wether to bid on oil going up!! silly me, il bid on the shares going down for ebay and il make a packet! cool!!! (im still not paying them though , pigs, they cost me 14 grand in feb and now they just cost me another 5, )

I think they will take another hit on 22nd when the US 30 days at the old rate finish, more stores will close then I predict, followed inNovember by the 90 day UK ones
