Thread: Uproar on ebay

    Default donation

i would definitely contribute to a donation whereby ebid uk would increase its advertising. I am concerned that e-bid have'nt enough exposure. I have a few auctions running for a couple of weeks now and i have not had anyone view them.. let alone bid. I sell dvd's, music and other personal items that i may have lying around. I have come over from the darkside because of the fees and i am now the proud owner of a platinum membership. I have told all my old customers and have explained my reasons for moving. Word of mouth is always the best form of advertising...but a tv ad or some newspaper articles would definitely push the site forward.

    Default No more Ebay anymore

    That's it!!!!
I have had it with Ebay.
Far to expensive to make any decent money.
Ebid looks a far friendlier and cheaper place to live.

    Happy new year to all

    Hi Kedo.
As Decalpaper said they are spitting nails over there, there as been post after post complaining, as the sellers are having their accounts put on hold particularly the ones selling high branded goods. plus they are holding on to the money they have in their accounts. Now is another ideal time to grab some of the sellers and buyers from over there. Paying out now on some much needed advertising will I am sure bring great rewards to this site. Such a shame they do not advertise more when they have worked so hard with all the recent great features.

I've just been over there on the Boards UK and US trying to wake people up, they are all complaining about low sales and fees but don't have the gumption to move. Ebay only exists because people list there. If they didn't list the buyers would go where they did list, simple really but they don't seem to grasp it!

    Welcome to ebid DinkyDaves

I look forward to browsing in your 'shops' when they are fully stocked, but I would definitely advise you against mentioning ebay on your eBid 'storefront' ... as you're doing at the moment along with a link of how to view your ebay auctions !

    That's naughty !
