Advertizing? Where?

what i was thinking of doing is, making an ebid sign so that when my car is parked in populated areas, i can pop off shopping or whatever and my sign can be displayed? just think of all the places it could be seen.
please let me know what you think

ive typed things into google and it brings up peoples items that are for sale on eb*y, but i have never noticed anything from ebid?
how do we get our items to show up there?

eBid car stickers are going to be the first merchandise, "off the press" so to speak, Gazza asked what merchandise we'd like some time back. Not sure when they'll be available.

As for google, I guess it depends on what you sell, & what you search for, I know Kedo has found his items get picked up ok. When I googled myself, my eBid store was well above my feebay one (will be even more so since I closed that yesterday).

It helps if you use relevant keywords in your titles & descriptions, IF you use images in your auctions, as well as the ones hosted on eBid, make sure you put the alt tag to good use, don't call it picture 1, call it something relevant to a person searching.

You could also try google base as a way of pulling in more custom, it's something I plan to do in the near future.

Talking of their plug eBid's store page, I'm about to duplicate all of those stores on my gothicina website, my kewtonia one too, once I get that domain name registered, & hosted.

I'm not sure who else has duplicated that store list on their site.

There are news sites which let you lodge press releases for free, New features, unusual auctions, new lookes etc.. could all be issued as press releases, and sent out to all the PC and shopping based magazines.

You can do that as an individual as well.
I tried that with my YDC seashell auctions, how is the little shell Val, not pining for Essex I hope?
I still need to release the others I'm waiting for the spring for that.

Hi Karen,

After you google for the merchandise items you wish to find click on "MORE" at the top of the google page and choose froogle as that is where you will find a lot of eBid items listed.
