    Default is it worth listing

hi new user here i was just wondering is it worth listing on here ,i use ebay but its gets very expensive,u see i have over 600 books for sale and i know if i list 50 im not gonna sell them all so @ebay lowest prices 50 x 15 p=£6.50 b4 i start,i sell cheap so if i sell a few i can be out of pocket .iv tried listing on other auction sites but they dont seem to sell anything i dont want to waste my time listing 50 or so books if this site is the same can i use paypal sorry to be such a pain but i was always told ..if you dont ask you dont get.all i want is to be able to make a few bob and i hope, because i also sell adult mags etc its not a big brother site like ebay, they go too far thanks in anticipation of your answers

Hi yes you can use paypal, just send your buyer a request after the ausction, You can't link it to your auction though. P&P is listed on the right of the listings at the top, To your other question,,,,, its free so its worth having a good go... the more you list and buy on here the better it will get, It's a growing site there are more and more ebayers arriving here by the hour. When you sell on ebay send your buyers an invoice and add a link telling them you are now on ebid. It costs nothing to try.

    Hi ya
    welcome to ebid

i came here from the other side and i also have listed plenty of books and sold plenty - i dont make a fortune selling them but more than on ebay (with all the wasted listing fees on ebay when they dont sell !)
I would say as Buttons and Bows said
its free so its worth having a good go... the more you list and buy on here the better it will get
Good luck with all your auctions .

I do OK selling books here.
I don't have last years accounts handy, but I can tell you I've sold 28 books since 6th April

    A few tips:
If you don't have any feedback on EBID yet- make an effort to get some by buying a couple of inexpensive items from fellow EBID sellers. This will give you a better customer confidence rating, and more goodwill with fellow sellers (who may end up being buyers of yours one day)

Advertise: EBID is not as discovered as EBAY- so a little marketing goes a long way. let your old customers know where to find you

The more items you list, the more chance you have of getting a sale- You can list similar items quickly by setting up a template or by using the excel uploader.

    Hi

    Welcome aboard

if you still want to use paypal then if your account is business you can use their invoicing tool for end of auction payment

A bit OTT isn't it considering your auctions. They are not even for charity.
