    Hi all

I have no idea whatsoever what the actual stats are on this but if more members but out more links into ebid (many way to do this) then more trafic will come. I plan on having links and banners in several places once my listing are ready (dont wat to get a lot of atention to auctions that got descriptions cut of and stuff like that but when its ready!)

well thats my 2cents on that.

It seems to be slow for most people at the moment, i'm sure it will pick up.

Where I come from it's called silly. Especially when there are no LOL's or anything to say otherwise.
Strange sense of humour where you come from. Have you never heard of the saying " It's not what you say, but how you say it".

Hi, I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but going back is strictly against policy & rules.
Rule 17, section 4, subsection 35b, paragraph 15, strictly states.... Any established member of the ebid community found deserting & 'going back' will be hung, drawn & quartered. Furthermore, said person will then be transported to the desert to be eaten by vultures. However, it is permissable to visit 'the other side' to take advantage of cheap or free listing days but it is absolutely forbidden to leave permanently.

I hope you have found this information useful, i'd hate you to breach such an important rule, just because you were unaware of it.

I don't find it funny. You know there are some gullible folks out there that might have thought that to be serious.

Not everybody has that kind of humour.

    [quote=JunesJewells]Hi all

I think your all getting me mixed up with someone else. I only sell Jewellery, & no clothes bundles. All my pictures you can see clearly what they are.

I've had some auctions on front page with 60mins and still no watchers.

I put cards on, & mothers day cards even on 60mins auctions & no one wanted them.

& yes I agree, how can leaving ebid be illegal?

Thanks for your replies though June[/quote

Sorry! I did get your auctions mixed up, but were you not the one who was saying you wanted to leave.
All I am saying is that, you can't always expect to get visitors. Some days I don't either but I am not getting worried about it and talking of leaving. It all depends on what people are looking for and also how much you want to spend putting your auctions up. If you think it is worth the cost to put your auctions up on Ebay, go ahead. I just don't think it is worth it. I have sold more here than I did on Ebay. It is the same everywhere, there are good months and bad months.

    Hi June,

I am glad you are going to at least hang around to buy off eBid.

You might think about listing some things on eBid and let them set, since they can be listed where there can be no cost unless they sell, and then list some things on a feepay site too ----- maybe if you do this, while you are selling on the feepay site your eBid site might take off too.

If you have things listed on eBid, when you sell something on your feepay site have a link to you eBid site in your correspondence and ask them to look at it and add it to their favorites.

When I sell something on ebay, I send out my own invoice instead of using the ebay invoice system so my link to eBid is in it with a message that they might like to see what I have listed on my eBid site.

I am offering FREE SHIPPING on the eBid site and I sometimes even have my items priced a little less to make it more enticing.

I think this sight is going to grow but it is a little slow.

I am not selling much on eBid but I have over 80 items listed (that amount would cost a fortune to list on ebay even if nothing sold) in case someone does decide to look and it is costing me nothing.

I presently have 8 items listed on ebay and that is because they had a special listing day.

I really can't afford to list on ebay most of the time.

I do wish you good luck in your buying and selling though -- wherever it is.
