Thread: Womens Clothing by Size - Please

  1. #1

Default Womens Clothing by Size - Please

Come on guys I have asked for this before - pretty please

We have boys and girls by age but we need womens clothing by size.

I like other people who buy loads of clothes on Ebay just put in size 18 and bam it takes me to all clothes of that size as I do not want to trawl through all the other irrelavent items in a size 10.

I am now in a position to ask for this as I have stacks of clothes I want to list as I have just started selling as of yesterday after much aggro in learning how to do the photo side of things.

When I asked for this last year others thought it a good idea.

Petite and Plus size is just far to general and needs to be broken down into sub catagories after that.

    Thank you

YES this is needed as well as putting ladies clothes into seperate headings ie: dresses, tops, sweaters etc. etc.

I also think S, M, L , XL and XXL would be a good groups as I have much Weekenders clothing which is sized this way as is much of my other stuff.

My wardrobes are beyond breaking point - clothes to me are like shoes to Imelda Marcos except I kinda can rival her on shoes and boots as well.

We moved and downsized and I have stacks of stuff to get rid of from size 8 up to size 22.

At the moment the thought of listing these items horifies me and I would like to list them on here and not Ebay.

I do think this is what puts some people off as they cant find a section which they normally sell in on Ebay here so think they don't cater for me rather than just asking the boys to add the sections.

Good point sanddancer and I could not agree more.

At the end of the day if the boys are going to do this they might as well cover all entualities.

I will have stuff for every section they create easily.

We've added new subcategories to Womens Clothes..

If some can list the exact sizes required for each subcategories then we can add them straight away..

    eg
    Jeans
    Size 6
    Size 8
    Size 10 +
etc (or by waist if that is the correct way)

Remember these will be shown on the US site as well so in an ideal world the sizes will make sense to the whole community, if they dont then we will have to add

    Jeans
Size 6 UK (US Size 4 EU Size 34") etc etc
Size 8 UK (US Size 6 EU Size 36") etc etc
Size 10+ UK (US Size 8+ EU Size 38") etc etc

as you can see it is quite a large undertaking and we will be sitting down to work it all out very soon, but if we can get a bit of help then we can get it going sooner.

    Thanks

Thanks for that Gazza. I think it would make more sense to add the international sizing in the category listing as well though. Exact measurements can always be given in individual listings.

I always put measuermements in my listings anyway, since even British sizings can differ considerably.

Thanks Gazza for listening it really does mean alot

I do have a very good idea of what I was asking not from the teckie side but from the clothing and size side.

I think once the section are created more people will list in them rather than at the moment most sellers just give up - me too I dont even look as it is too much hard work which is a shame.

I have done some of the sizes 16 to 32 from my own records they are fairly accurate have not got the smaller sizes but I am sure they are on the web somewhere and maybe someone else may have them.

Tried to cut and paste them from my excel but it didnt work will try and email them to you instead - wish I was more teckie it is such a slow learning process

Which categories would these be relevant to?

    Tops?
    Skirts? etc

I think jeans are waist size arent they?
