I watched "The Grudge" the other night - it is supposed to be one of the scariest films ever made - I didn't bat an eyelid all the way through it!

I find "true life adaptations" much scarier than fiction

Movies like "Serpico" which shows there are "mafias" within Police forces absolutely do me in -- especially living out here, where similar stories are made public almost daily.

Gimme the ghouls and vampires and stuff anytime - especially the new genre stuff with the likes of Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale in them (ooooooh - gimme Kate Beckinsale morning, noon, and night - might gimme a multiple coronary but I'd die a happy man)

Watched Van Helsing the other night - brilliant
Saw Underworld a month or two back - loved it

And watched a Chinese film with English subtitles and mixed English/Chinese dialogue about the Yakuza trying to muscle in on Shanghai and the local guild gangs fighting back - terrifying stuff when watched with certain news clippings in mind - had me looking over my shoulder for days every time I went out.
