Global "Away from home/office" message for auctions

Hi guys

Could we have a facility that adds a warning flag and brief message when we're off on holiday or something

The flag and message to appear between the auction header and auction description so that buyers can see it easily

The purpose being to show buyers that although listings have not been "taken down" the seller is away for a few days and at close of auction, reponse from the seller may not be immediate.

Something like this is becoming more urgent as eBid goes international, due to the differences in public and national holiday dates - especially for those of us with lots of listings.

What a great idea

Nothing worse from a buyers perspective when you aska questiona nd wait a day and still get no reply. I for one just think fine I will buy elsewhere.

It's all about good communication and keeping the channels open.

Great idea - perhaps a customisable "splash" that sellers could switch on....

good idea. Also usefull if you are offline over weekends and even just to use on a birthday etc when you will be busy for a day

Fantastic thank you. I know this feature works well ona forum I moderate on and is so handy when you are going to be away for a couple of days.
