Thread: What's this security thing, then?

Default What's this security thing, then?

Just back on the site after a couple of months, and find that everything has changed. What is this about paying a 'security charge'. I thought the site was free?
    Can someone enlighten me, please?

    Hi there,

If you were a seller before the beginning of Feb, the Security Subscription is free for life, as long as you have up-to-date card on file.

I also see that my previous image used for my last auction was still viewable (now deleted). All very confusing.

Well, during the process of putting together details of my proposed auction, I downloaded an image and noticed the image from my last auction a few months ago was still available. I deleted it.

Ah, yes. eBid holds item images in "My Gallery" for about 90 days after auction, before that you have to manually delete them

So, why, as a registered member, am I expected to pay?

    Hi again

If you were a seller before Feb, you are NOT expected to pay any new charges. If you click the link to upgrade to the lifetime subscription, it shouldn't charge you....

any help you need with this, please email support@ebid.tv
