I'd like to know where the goalposts are this time, so that I know whether it's worth me ordering the stock I planned to this week...

Dont threaten us Gaz. We have just said we would create a top level category for you, the intense complications of moving a current category to a top level are known only by me.

We are building a system to allow us to automate this and once this is created we will move it to the top.

It is a job that I am completely unwilling to do by hand considering the recent complete re-write of our category structure.

Sorry, but please understand the frustrations involved - many of us have been pushing for this for 18 months and have seen two major shifts in criteria - both of which came about because we were all "getting vocal again".

fyi - yes I do understand the intense complication - I was one of the project managers on the BAA "desktop standardisation" project in 1997 - bringing over 4000 different softwares into under 200 applications and over 100 operating systems into just 4 at every BAA airport worldwide and managed remotely from Heathrow. I was also a project manager in 1997-98 for the LloydsTSB WAN system for their new (then) online banking system and personal lending management systems.

Yes it's difficult and complicated - early long term planning helps - dream up everything you could want to do and leave space for it ..... bit like writing code in BASIC - don't number the lines 1, 2, 3, etc - number then 10, 20, 30 etc.
