I dont like xbox live, too expensive for what it is, also the best game downloads are costly. Try XB connect, its free, you can play live and system link games on your broadband connection, headsets can be used and lots of people use it. I usually play halo2 and r63 over this and its great, less laggy than xb live as well.

thats what i use XB connect its tunneling software that lets you run your xbox through your computer and play online.
