thank you Gazza. I want to start as a seller but it does not mention PayPal as a way of payment for basic sellers. Does this also mean that if someone wants to purchase an item I list they cannot pay with PayPal unless I upgrade? I would prefer fees and payments to go through PAYPAL only. How are bids paid ?

It should be available to all sellers so I don't know why the "upgrade to Seller+" is tagged onto that text - unless something has changed.

If you only have a basic Seller (as opposed to Seller+) eBid account you will need to use the Platinum listing type to get integrated PayPal checkout or else manually invoice your buyers through PayPal.

Can anybody tell me please how to view sold items on e bid,to gauge values and what is actually selling here,a month or more history would be great,thanks in advance regards bob

Hello my name is Linda, I live in Liverpool UK. I joined Ebid June 2019 as it seems a great site, plus I was dishertned by the excessive fees charged by other sites, especially the unreasonable % demanded on shipping fees.

So far I have added 90 (not bulk) listings to Ebid (more to come). However, to-date I have not yet recieved an enquiry or made a sale, am I expecting too much as a new(ish) seller or am I missing something?

Hi Linda.

Prices.
Buyers shop around.
Less fees here so be competitive and still make a profit.
e.g. Lady in the Van is available cheaper elsewhere from quite a few sellers.
