Hi, I'm another rat that's leaving the sinking ship. Hopefully if enough of us swim over here then all will not be lost.......

Been on the darkside for over 10yrs with great success, but these last rule changes have proven to be too much for us to stomach - mandatory managed returns being the final straw. I've also been a member of this site for the same amount of time, but left due to lack of sales - hopefully we can improve on this.

Also looking into attending antiques fairs and opening our own website - so hopefully eBay will have done us a big favour in the end.....

Oh.....we're a husband and wife team from Nottinghamshire - wish us luck!

Hi, wetgerbil!! Glad to see you have surfaced!! Read the FAQ's, found by clicking the help button at the top right of the page, and frequent the forums........you will get a lot of help and answers if you ask. The FAQ's also contain the do's and don'ts of the site, as well as helpful videos.

A couple of tips from me
List your best stuff on ebid to get the best chance of a good start
And price them competitively, ebid has lower fees.
And unless you really want to, try not to use Run Until Sold or your listings will stay at the bottom of each category.
And open a shop or two which will allow people to see all the you have to offer.
And ...be patient.

Thanks I've got all those things covered, apart from listing 'all' my best stuff as importing & editing from eBay via ninja is a right royal pain in the neck.
