ONLY let 50 characters in TITLE?? at first!
Why not just dont let you type more than 50 characters in the title.
Instead if you do type over 50 then you have to go back and change it, why not just only have 50 spaces at the begining of the listing so that it doesnt need to tell you that youve gone over and it would save some time and annoyance to the lister.

Anyone who gives more than 50 characters for the title deserves all the inconvenience they get.
tend to agree with the OP, it doesn't happen often but when it does it's a bit of an aggravation to go back 2 pages to amend it.
