    Yes, although they're more 'serve' counters than 'hit' counters. That is, they are incremented every time the page is served rather than every time the page is served to a unique user within the life of the auction.

    Although in fairness, it's not that noticeable.

    I know when I look at someones auction it tells me how many people have already looked at the item....

    Confused as usual! lol
    There are look in "my ebid" section it tells you how many people have looked next to the number of bids, listing time etc

    And they're cumulative both over the initial relist "run" and when you use the rist button in closed auctions - i.e. if the first 10 times around, 20 "views" were logged and you then relist again - the second set of 10 relists begins with 20 views.

    In a perverse logic sort of way, I actually like that system - it helps to figure out if you've got the item in a high visibility category.

    BUT - a nice big, prominent counter encourages people to add the item to their watch list, and encourages bids & sniping (which has to be manual on here of course).
