OK here's where you prob lies as far as I can see

The Display was pre-adjusted in the factory with standard VGA timing. Due to output timing differences among various VGA cards, you may initially experience an unstable and/or unclear display when a new display mode or new VGA card is selected.
You need to adjust the On Screen Display (OSD) Settings on the LCD. Refer to your Manual to learn more about the specific functions of your model. Common problems are horizontal or vertical black borders.

    • To stabilize, adjust the monitor's “Frequency/Clock” setting

    • To clarify, press “Auto Adjust” button from the display.

    • If you use extension cable to connect your LCD monitors to your PC system, please check your extension cable or connect your LCD monitors directly to your PC system.

You will need to read through the booklet for the above .... it will say somewhere .... did you use your original VGA cable or the new one ?
If you used your old one I suggest you swap that 1st

Wondered what the clock button was for.

There does seem to be some improvement now.

    Flickering stopped.

Text clearer * though smaller *

    Screen 90% less shakey.

    Cheers Aps.

    FOR ALL REPLIES.

mine did that ages ago..... didn't realise I'd done it myself without realising. Hold down ctrl and scroll mouse at same time and it changes size of your text......

One other thing .... are you using internet explorer or fire fox ?

If you are using IE go to View, Text Size and change it to which ever suits you best
