I hate motion sickness from a screen/puter game, I have to lay down for a couple of hours. Hence one of the reasons why I don't own any game boxes....
I know tracey , i have read your posts re dizziness etc.
I get it A LOT. ( PUKE ) So this is really not going to help matters.

If its some silly little thing that needs sorting.

There is a disc with it, didnt think i needed it though as i plugged it in and it came straight on. So thought i didnt need it.

    You know me IMPATIENT.

The monitor i was using b4 was a dell one came with pc.
    Its highest is 75.

Will put the disc in and see if it gives me any options.

    Thanks anyway guys.

    Be back in a bit.

Might also be worth setting the refresh rate to 60Hz (CP > Display > Settings> Advanced > Monitor > Screen Refresh Rate)

Granted - it's not going to be ideal for everyone. The 60Hz guideline is the H&S suggested setting that we build all our PCs to at work as a best compromise option - and the only people who seem to have a problem with it are the people who are, technically, blind (heavily visually impared for want of a better phrase).

Personally speaking, a 60Hz refresh rate does me better than a 75 or 100, but in the end it's what your eyes are comfortable with. I've always been led to believe that the higher the refresh, the more your eyes have to work to keep up with the CRT refreshing....

Disc was as suspected no use to me.

The clear fonts ... 50% improvement THANKS for that. Text is no longer fuzzy when static.

Re : the blurring when scrolling thats still there ( maybe its cus i scroll too fast ) ? Dunno. I will prob get used to it then.

Just gotta get my sea legs

Elaine.. click on Tools from the menu (next to favourites) on top.
    Select Internet Options,
Click on advanced (the last tab)
Go down the list and under browsing and tick smooth scrolling.
    Click on ok.

You may need to restart the internet explorer for the changes to take place.

i bought one from argos, all seemd fine but you know i just wasn't happy, seemed like there was something wrong.
THEN i opened up photoshop a day or so later and got a message "your xyz monitor appears to be faulty blah blah blah."

took it straight back, went to maplins, plugged it in, pefect. so it er, could be fooked.
If the cap doesn't fit, why choose to wear it?
