yep that would definatly be a good idea, no excuses for sellers not to accept escrow anyway with these items

It is surprising how may items are listed in the electrical category of whom the sellers have no feedback and they have used professional photos and HTML all of which look like scams. I think it would be a step closer to getting rid of the scammers.
I am new to e-bid and looking to sell my items on this site, moving from e-bay.
I think that any serious seller would not have a problem with setting up to receive payments by PPPay or selling lower value items until they have sufficient positive feedback to warrant the sale of higher value items.
I have already set myself up to receive payments via PPPay and will be listing my lower value items first to generate the neccessary positive feedback.

Sorry but that’s hogwash, what’s to stop a scammer getting to the required feedback and then pull scams?
I have just joined ebid and will be signing up for pppay gold member status. I have no problem showing my credentials at the time of doing so to prove who I am and what I do.

Most of the items I sell range between £100 - £15000. Why should I be penalised by having to find low value items to sell in order to get going, or be forced to use Escrow at extra cost and time.
Businesses live or die by their reputation. Innocent till proven guilty, please do not tar us all with the same brush. Don’t discourage high value sellers by making silly rules. Scammers are everywhere and are a sad fact of life. It’s how they are dealt with that count.
