Default Bug with apostrophes in auction titles

    Anyone else noticed this ?

If an apostrophe is used in the title, the rest of the title after the apostrophe is clipped

i.e. "Dragon's Lair" shows up as "Dragon"

This can cause problems with book titles etc.

Yep I've seen that one in the past. I did email the boys about it, but think they have been busy with other things...

Are you starting an auction from scratch or using the repost form??

    Seems ok here..

I'm not sure, I only just noticed the problem with some of my auctions

One of them was probably a repost, not sure about the others

it's when u put them in the title - its to do with scripting... if you put in something like ... New Frank thomas 'chill out' gloves... then it shortens it to ... New Frank thomas... because the ' is recognised as script.

I've seen this a lot b4 and it is very annoying

there's also a bug somewhere that seems to remove a "space" from html that we upload. It doesn't seem to be a problem ON upload, but later you can go back and look at the auction to find that a space has been removed and your html is up the wall... on mine it means one of my buttons changes position on the page.

Other users have mentioned this, saying that it had joined their words together and wrecked html

I've seen the same problem with HTML on other sites - I think it's just a feature of HTML
There are a few HTML commands to insert spaces, can't remember them offhand, but some of the HTML practice & tips sites should list the command
