    Hey,

Looks like the file has been corrupted, if it's stored on floppy, you could try and dun scandisk or defrag (right click floppy drive in my computer, Properties, Tools Tab, Check For Errors and Defragment) it might help...

Another thing you can do is to copy the corrupt file into a new one, and give it a '.rtf' extension, then try and open it in word, see if it can sort itself that way.

    http://www.unc.edu/~milward/pctech/WordCorrupt.html has some more tips.

Finally, you could try a recovery program...

    http://www.jufsoft.com/docrepair/?rid=ls#download
    http://www.word-fix.com/download/wfixdemo.exe
These are all demo versions, there are probably cracks around, but.

Let me know how you get on

    Regards,
    - Nick
