Wanted Section

hate to be contraversial (cant spell) but IMHO its a bad idea ... as mainly a seller here i wouldtn want to be messign around .. also if you wanna buy something its better to know there is a seller selling it than putting it on the wanted section and hoping .. also in terms of time it would be slow and i dont really have the time to scroll throgh auctions looking for buyers....

maybe its a good idea in some cases butr should be limited to items not widely available such as art / dvds (soem are common but many hard to find) / games etc

It might work, but the person offering the item to the user posting the wanted ad would need to fill in some sort of web form with postage cost, condition etc. & the wantee (is that a word ?) would have the option to accept the offer

It could be open to abuse, maybe only offered to users with good feedback ?

It would be too easy for someone to register just to rip off a wantee

Nice idea though, needs some more thought

I can see people like book dealers being very interested in it

Possibly a small charge for this service ?
