In my experience with dvd players, id say the cheaper un known makes are always the best, especially for playing back VCD/SVCD films, i have spent lots of money on high spec dvds and been let down by not playing certain disks, after that bought one from safeway around £50 and it played everything.

But yea that looks like a pretty good player and at a very good price. Best of luck with it

    hi

Of course it depends on wot kind of discs you are planning on watching. As bOoza says it might be alright for playing back vcd's or svcds but the quality of them is 'questionable' to say the least. If you want to watch DVD'S and get good quality playback then spend a little bit more on a decent brand MULTIREGION player.
