Thread: e-bid good and bad

    Default e-bid good and bad

Hi just to let you all know I'm now in the last stages of winding up my e-bay account.
Have sent over 600 e-mails to past and present customers and had a good positive response.
And I've sold three things today on buy now and have several bids on stuff.
Got more stuff to list and more advertising to do.
Lots of the people I mailed are interested in e-bid and had never heard of it before so hopefully there will be more joining.
Without everybody hating me can I offer one piece of criticism, when you first look on e-bid as a potential seller/customer you automatically go to the forums and it does not give you a positive feeling if there's lots of negativism on the forums, even when its not complaining it is not good advertising, I nearly changed my mind, it was rainbowcraft that made me decide to give it a go.
I've worked in sales for years and no matter how bad it gets you pretend your doing great and that gives buyers confidence in you and your products.
sorry for the lecture, no offence intended
