New Cats for Photography 35mm and INDUSTRIAL !

Hi Lads !

I appreciate that you are extremely busy at the moment but for the items that I normally deal in there are no really appropriate cats at the moment.

Could I please request that you ad a 35mm section to Photography with the subsections 1, Cameras. 2, Lenses . 3, Misc .

A new cat for INDUSTRIAL ! With the subsections for Contracters Plant + Machinery , Electrical , Other Plant and Machinery , Tools hand , Tools Power .

This would save members interested in heavier duty gear having to wade through the not really appropriate Household cat and over a short period I could get INDUSTRIAL to a good size on my own .

I know that you are busy and still have a home life but is there any chance on the Industrial category suggestion in the very near future, The Photographic cat I can live with but its not ideal as 35mm buffs tend to discount other camera types, the Industrial cats would be very handy as I have a load of auctions more or less ready to go !

We have 35mm under cameras already, ive added 35m under lenses now...

The Industrial i dont think we can have as a parent category, maybe unde Whatevers Left, is that ok?

Hi Gazza !

I can live with the addition of lenses to Photography all though like others have suggested it would be better and easier to search if Photography was a category on its own and not buried in Electrical which is not strictly appropriate .

I appreciate that you are having problems coping with the influx of eBayers and its demands on bandwith etc but my suggested Industrial category is only quite small and both existing and hopefully lots of new users wanting these type of items could get put off by trying to find industrial items mixed in with everything else as that cat is quite large at over 1700 items , the industrial categrory on ebay is very large and does a lot of trade in high value items and I am hoping that if you can squeeze it in that Industrial will do the same on Ebid .

I think photography should have its only section too it is wayyy too buried in electrical and would never think of looking there...

Hi Lads !

I am a fairly patient sort of guy but it is 5 days now since I first posted about the categories in the original post on this thread and apart from 35mm cameras I still have nowhere really suitable to list my items.

I have been doing my bit to promote the site but it is confusing to the 500 + buyers in my address book to have emailed them promoting Ebid and then not to have any items listed for them to view .

Any chance of sorting something out today ?
