Seperate age categories in the clothing section.

Hi I would like to see seperate age categories in the kids clothing sections as it makes it difficult when browsing eg girls 2-4yrs, 5-10yrs etc etc

List exactly what you think would be best and what we should get rid of...

Right here goes,
Baby wear 0-12mths
Toddler girls 12-24mths
Toddler boys 12-24mths
Girls 2-5yrs
Girls 5-10yrs
Girls 10+
Boys 2-5yrs
Boys 5-10yrs
Boys 10+
And then maybe two seperate categories for boys and girls accessories like belts etc. Other sellers may have other views but I like this the best.

I am new from ebay due to there fees . Well done for the no fees I will be listing quite a bit of stuff.

That looks good to me cloaths 4 kids as i have 2 of my own ( 1 boy 10 tommorrow and 1 (pita) girl 6 and will be looking through with intrest :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink:

Would it cause a problem with the ages overlapping.

Say someone has a 5 year old, would they look in 2-5 years or 5-10years.

Just a thought, but as a seller of these items, you probably know better than I.

Well there has been this problem on ebay for ages now but it's never stopped me selling if it's 4/5yrs I put it in 2-5 and if its 5/6 I put it in 5-10yrs, if you see what I mean, if it's just 5yrs I usually put it in either both or the highest.

I would definatly like to see these sub catagories for clothes. I have bought and sold lots of kids clothes on ebay and they make it much easier. I agree the overlap has never stopped me selling but I think a lot of people (me included) will do a search for "kids clothes age 2" (etc) instead of just browsing the catagory so they can still easily find what they want

Could I second that please?

It would make browsing a lot easier and items found a lot quicker.
I have a mountain of children's clothes to put up :roll:
but it didn't seem worth it with them all grouped together like that.
