MEMBER COUNT ON HOME PAGE

Hiya,

I think it would be interesting to be able to see how many people are on eBid at any one time - a bit like the forum stats on the front page of the forums.

I don't mean anything elaborate, like listing their names or anything! I mean just having: X people are here, X are registered/signed in, X are guests, or whatever.

Would it be possible to slip that in at the bottom of the Home page or something?

Well said tracy -------I second that request as it would be nice to see the numbers who are actually in the ebid auction area

We're planning that at the moment, Im trying to tie our auction software in with the forum software more tightly so that I can use all the forum facilities within the auciton pages.... eg , listing latest forums, users online, and also a single login (for both auction area and forum area)

Our "to do" list is currently standing at about 30 changes/upgrades in line..!

OHHHH by the way why your on about your job list the other day you mentioned combining all the computer items etc into 1 section :!: :!:

You will see a difference in the category pages hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday,,, Once this is done I will merge the electrical and computer parent categories.....
Browsing will be much easier and hopefully our page views will increase as a result,,
