just noticed ebid since 1999 so will be 25 this year wonder if the boys have anything planned ?

I was in Sainsbury's car park today and a lady loading shopping into the next car said "I've bought a few good things on there -- I collect buttons." I didn't know that anyone collected buttons??

She told me that she never leaves FB because it 'confuses her' (tiny picture of shrugging shoulders) but perhaps something for The Management to think about? But nice to know that someone did recognise the logo and buys here.

I think that many forums are quieter than they were - sort of "been there, done that" but a livelier forum couldn't hurt sales now could it?

I think you're right.
I still post on the obay boards and they're much quieter now as well. A glass reference / ID/ enthusiasts site I look in on at least once a week has less discussion now and more one-off ID requests. It seems boards are suffering from the same, more general decline in conversation??

There's not much to talk about since nothing really changes here, as for Obay's forums they are full of people who deliberately ruin conversations about oBay issues and there was a large drop in sellers the past two years

Yes they are hemorrhaging sellers (and buyers) at the moment. They have tried to stop it with completely Free listing AND sales costs until 8th April. But sales are still plummeting after a minor blip upwards, probably as much to do with the economic climate and the time of year. However obay are then increasing fees from 8th April which will undoubtably be 'yet another' opportunity for anyone with foresight to jump in and promote their site - no it won't happen, some people are really blinkered!

25 years and all is quiet.....

I have just wished Ebid happy Birthday on Twitter(x) .
Ebid's Tiwtter account is very quite again it needs a good revamp.
