    Post Offer Reminders

Do you think that the Offer reminder emails are a bit too frequent...? example: I received an offer at 11:53pm - a reminder at 1 am (1 hour later) - another reminder at 6am (5 hours later) ... all this was while I was sleeping, so how would I know of it at the time!

I know that offers may be made at any time of the day - but are such frequent and swift reminders necessary if I am not monitoring my emails all day/night!

Think yourself lucky you get the emails, I had an offer on an item back at the end of last year and missed it because no email was sent to me and have had no offers since. I I think when luck was given out I was right at the back of the queue.

Have you checked to see that the appropriate boxes are ticked in "My Notifications"? There are three which affect whether or not you receive notifications of offers and how you receive them.

    Hi Tony
My settings were set ok it seemed to be a glitch with either ebid or hotmail. I had received an offer before this in the September which I had declined due to the fact they were offering me a fraction of the price for similar items being sold on the bay, I removed the item from sale in the end.

I decided not to accept any offers, but to price everything at the lowest offer I am willing to accept, so I am never making a loss. Seems to work as a strategy for good sales; not so much for making income
