Medical Advice needed!

Hi! I have a couple of problems that need sorting out.

I've been having difficulty contacting my GP's surgery after a blood test. This is important as I have to take a fair bit of medication owing to a heart problem.

After much ringing to no avail, I went on to the website where I normally request medication - nothing there. So I then had a brainwave -

Perhaps they had made me an appointment and I had not noticed; I checked - and they had!!!

I am allowed to choose one iof two appointment times for an on-line appointment for....a cervical smear!!!

I am a male of 82 years and have been with this surgery for goodness knows how long!!

My query is....should I request a pregnancy test beforehand??

The appointment I received is genuine...however, I cannot give the page for obvious reasons!

Well, I think to be on the safe side you should take the test - if it's negative, no problems. If it's positive, I'd contact a national newspaper, there could be a good sum of money coming your way...
