New Computer - Trouble With Nija Lister

New computer so I have to set things up again. Downloaded and installed Air, then downloaded Ninja Lister, everything is there except the description. The box where the description should be is completely blank just a white box. I noticed on the download page something about McAfee damaging the installer file with the advice to turn of real time scanning while downloading. Tried that and it's still doing it exactly the same. Any ideas will be greatfully recieved.

I've just tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Air and Lister. Hasn't made any difference.

I don't know much about this, but I saw under the Help Tab
Under the Selling section
Scroll down to #46
1. Open your McAfee software program.
2. In the Virus and Spyware Protection section, turn Off the Real Time Scanning option (select the lowest option 15 minutes). Select Done.
3. Install the Ninja Lister software.
4. In McAfee turn On the Real Time Scanning option.

Well, I tried that, but McAfee didn't give a time frame for it being off. It was just turn off real time scanning then after I'd done the download turn on real time scanning. It was only off for a minute. Maybe I did it wrong. I'll give it another go and report back.

In some searches for : mcafee real time scanning won't turn off

There were some things in the mcafee community and such.
Maybe try there to look for information. ? ? ?

I did get it to turn off, even with the 15 minute thing this time, I even waited 5 minutes to make sure there wasn't any residule energy knocking around, it just didn't make any difference. I might be able to get a clue with a different search though.

There is absolutely no mention of Ninja Lister in the McAffee community, nore can I find anything helpful with a google search.
In the meantime I've tried the whole sorry proccess all over again with exactly the same results. I am now thinking of giving up and just letting the relists run without editing.

So sorry, I just did a search on McAffee and not able to turn off the scanning.
I didn't include the Ninja Lister in the mixed.
I just thought you need to keep the McAffee in OFF position.
