Product Variations

I've read where administrators of this site recommend the use of Product Variations V/S single listings to avoid unnecessary redundancy. However, nowhere to be found are instructions or settings on the listing page to show how or to set up variations. Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

If you have listed on the other e&$y site you can import all your listings including ones with variations, not sure how you create from new,sorry

only certain product categories seem have this option shown eg try listing mens t shirts you will now see the variation colour /size link on right
not sure if this is a bug or overlooked by admin but having to do multiple listings for womans/vest as option variation not showing for me too
