Hi just wondering if anyone can help with a cake recipe using blancmange powder, I baked some cakes using this back in the 70's and 80's but have lost the recipe. I used a Marguerite Pattern recipe and have checked the books I have of hers but cannot find it in any of them. I know the recipe came from a Home & Freezer magazine I used to buy back in the days. I remember it was very light, she also did a cake recipe where she substituted mayonnaise for eggs which I tried and again turned out light and tasty, I remember getting family and friends to try it and asking for comments before telling them how it was made, they were amazed and the comments were favourable, sadly lost that recipe also.
