    Default A stamp collector

    Hi,

    I am a stamp collector.

When I look at your stamp listings I can select new or unused. Which do I select if I only want MNH (Mint Never Hinged)? Some sellers could list these as new, others as unused, and to go through two massive listings such as these is quote frankly bordering on the impossible.

Also when I look at France for example, I am only able to lok at France and Colonies, and as most stamps in the list are Colonies I am faced with over 200 pages to look for, which is again impracticable.

    I feel your pain!

For you - a suggestion - within France and colonies, whatever you search for should include "France", thus removing the colonies.

For eBid - the advanced search on Stamps should make it possible (easily) to search for the special conditions given for stamps - instead of new and used it should be MNH etc.

You could also try UM - unmounted mint - which a lot of sellers use

Although I predominantly sell used stamps, any MNH stamps I list would have MNH in the title, such as FINLAND, CHRISTMAS, Party at Korvatunturi, yellow 2005, 3.50markka, MNH

Like Bill, I sell mostly used stamps and like Bill any mint stamps will have MNH or MH in the title. Also usually mint suitably qualified in words.

I also collect/sell MNH France stamps - the main eBid category is 'France and Colonies', but in my shop I list purely as 'France' and I add MNH , MH, or used in the title as well as in the description.

    - an example here: https://www.ebid.net/uk/for-sale/fra...-200863305.htm

When searching, tick the box for descriptions also?as well...
