Threads to be only removable by site owner

How about threads can ONLY be removed by site owner, same goes for posts, on said Threads. Of course this is if the thread/post is reported.
Posts can no longer be edited, but instead have a "Addition".

I think that would be a great idea. If I started a thread and then decided it was a bit rubbish or plagued by trolls I could ask for it to be removed.

Too many threads and replies have been removed recently along with a whole bunch of very useful replies.

Forgot (as I couldn't remember the word at the time) to add Management as part of the Site Owner wording.
Of course the Addition would need to be highlighted to show that it was added at some point after the initial post was created.

I do not agree.
I would prefer to have the option of deleting my own threads.
Offensive threads already have an option to report to admin.
