Default to post or not to post?

    .

I am really enjoying quite a few posters' comments/advice on other threads but I am refraining from replying in support of them as I would much prefer the threads in question to drop down the page into obscurity. It seems obvious to me that the constant battles are like fodder to some folks' ego's.

I do hope others will consider refraining from posting, thus letting the threads in question fall off the page.....

Actions, and sometimes inactions, can speak louder than words ......

    That's not like you, Mandart

I think I might add a bit to my novel for a bit. That will keep me busy

I have been very tempted to post but restrained myself... Think it must be old age....

It's good to see the youngsters playing though.

I have just got back in from a productive time in the garden. It should save us a fortune.

Haven't got as far as the garden yet - been trying to make my dear lady see sense - she's got pains running down her right arm from her shoulder which pain killers aren't dealing with...

She suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and this has all the symptoms of of that.

She has a lovely jar of ointment I got for her but she won't put it on. Because it smells. She doesn't want to smell like an old person.

Finally after about an hour nagging her she's put it on. 10 minutes later the pain's subsided, but she's still moaning about the smell...

I know which one I'd rather put up with...

I get financial help for gardening but it's only a small amount. Billy used about a third of the annual amount recently to pay a mate to help out and he just mowed the lawn. The most I have paid to have the lawn mowed. It's only a small patch of about 4m x4m so what I have just gone out and done is start on all the heavy gardening that the money is meant to be spent on
