    It's the same all over the country because of lockdown. I was fortunate in that the local "Dogs' Trust" had already had experience with me and so knew my setup. When I contacted them about a pair of girls (Bracken and Clover, if you remember) they simply sent them over with a handler to see how we all three would react. Next thing I knew, I was giving card details for bank account over the 'phone. Whenever I settle into an armchair, I end up wearing them! Such company!!

    Why not see if your local one might do something similar. (Obviously, if the dog they are offering is difficult, then they will not.)

    No name came for "Little Girl" when she was a kitten, so she will remain "Little Girl" and she is petite. Last year, I did think about calling her Petunia. Oh well.

    That's my six kids.
    15 year old Ellie Mae
    6 year old Fletcher Alan
    5 year old Blue
    4 year old Dottie
    3 year old Alfalfa
    3 year old Little Girl

    Almost had to adopt a chipmunk. Blue came close to bring in a chippy.

    Could not find the "girls" when I was about this morning; then I looked in a spare room which had been left open accidentally!!

    @Cambrensis

    The best sleep is in a restricted room because they know it's a comfy room.

    This is 'Clawed' he's the latest addition to our cat family. He likes helping (LOL) on the computer but keeps deleting my work!
