I have a couple of new listings in my Car Boot store...

A rather nice example of a Dell Inspiron 531 computer, complete with matching Dell 4:3 monitor, Dell keyboard and mouse. I've upgraded it to the maximum 4GB RAM, added a second hard drive so the system can dual boot into either the original Windows Vista Home (Recovery Partition is intact in case the owner wishes to do a factory reset / re-install) or Mint linux, a current OS which opens up access to modern software packages such as Libre Office and a whole host of other open source and freeware packages in the standard Debian repositories. I've also fitted a Quadro K600 graphics card to improve the graphics and 3D capability significantly, and allows the computer to be used with modern widescreen monitors. Surely a very nice package for anyone interested in retro computing, linux, Vista, etc.

Also new to the Car Boot store is a Canon SX270 compact digital camera, ready to use out of the box with memory card, original battery and charger, and Getting Started manual. A nice compact camera in used condition, fully working albeit with a caveat - the video mode on the SX270 has a habit of draining the battery very quickly, this is a known fault with this model that Canon never managed to fix, however the camera works perfectly well for stills.

As always, if you see the MaO (Make an Offer) sign on any of my listings (which is probably most of them), I invite you to do just that!
