Yes, they can be crazy; some around here are too!

But I've just had a 'phone call!! An update!!

As snow is threatened here for Sunday, they are to be delivered tomorrow afternoon! So watch this space!

I am worn out, I am very glad to say! The girls have been with me for about 3 hours. They ran around exploring for about an hour, then jumped on top of me in my chair, gave me a few kisses and then fell asleep, still on top of me!!!
When they awakened they insisted on "walkies", which luckily was not very far as they stopped to chat with other dogs and one or two small children!!

A neighbour kindly took some photographs of the girls lying in state upon my person!

It certainly feels like it! They seem to be trying to make me feel at home! LOL! They have found the armchair I'd assigned to Harri. One lies across the top of the back, viewing the world as Harri did while the other lies on the seat. Seems to be "first come, first served!"

I had a bit more background on these girls yesterday. They had been owned by an elderly couple, not a "little old lady". The old lady died and her husband kept the girls but he too died about 11 months later. Relatives could not cope, so they went into the Trust system. This explains why they are quite happy with an old man, though! Lol!

I had a great night. They did not wish to settle downstairs, so we compromised with two beds on the landing - I will not have a dog in the bedroom. At about 4 am "Clover" woke me as she wanted the garden, so both went. At about 7 am they followed me downstairs, went outside again, then each had a "treat" for duty done. They have had breakfast and are now dozing, with half an eye on me.
It will take them a few days to realise that they are not going to be passed on yet again, then all should be well.

All is right with the world!!!
