I moved house 10 days before Christmas and I am finally able to take my holiday notice off and show my face around here again!

Thank you Pam. It is odd - it is a bigger home but with less storage space than the old place except for in the loft which is huge. Floored, shelved and even the roof is lined! So at least a lot of stuff with lots of memories can be stored up there until I can decide to either use or bear to put in a charity shop (assuming they will in fact open again one day!).

It went brilliantly well thanks Mandart as there was no pressure. I am still emptying the old place bit by bit as it wasn't a case of moving out all in one go, thankfully! I am only just over 2 miles away from my old place but it could be another universe in terms of a quieter area with fab neighbours. Good Bye Boys with noisy drilling/hammering toys!!!!

Thank You Penni. I am loving it. I can now find the bathroom in the middle of the night without ending up somewhere else and I am still waking up in the mornings so grateful to be here.
