Thread: Make eBid more user friendly.

  1. #1

Default Make eBid more user friendly.

Made my first sale on eBid today and waiting on payment. I am pretty certain that the buyer is new aswell. I am not new to e-commerce, but have found the process on eBid a little confusing.

I have been listing items on eBid for many years without sales and don't recall adding any payment details to my store. I ended invoicing the buyer with my paypal details. I am not sure weather this is the correct/easiest process.

I would like to see a more user friendly approach to the whole situation, lacking that some instructional videos on Youtube might be helpful too. I am so used to eBay, Esty and Amazon and I am sure other users, especially new ones feel the same.

You could start by looking at eBid Help. There you will find FAQs and How To Videos which should help.

Each selling site has its own quirks. I would probably find the ones you list somewhat user unfriendly because I sell on eBid.

As you're a Seller+ member and have paypal on your listings doesn't that mean that you set up your paypal account on ebid, to make use of the integrated checkout?

OP - you have included postage in your prices - so you will pay more fees than you need to. One of your items is below the cost of the postage - there is unlikely to be more than one bidder on here so, if it sells, you lose money.

Had you considered buying the odd thing on here to get some eBid feedback?
